Stakeholders' Workshop On Juvenile Justic Administration In The Northern Region
The Judicial Training Institute (JTI) in collaboration with UNICEF has organizing a stakeholders' knowledge sharing workshop for stakeholders in Juvenile Justice Administration in the Northern Region. The workshop brought together representatives from the Judicial Service, the Department of Social Welfare, the Ghana Police Service, the Prisons Service, the District Assemblies, the Attorney-General Department and representatives from the Ghana Bar Association all in the Northern Region. The workshop was intended to provide a platform for all stakeholders to identify and share institutional challenges that they face in their joint quest to protect the right of the child and to find common solution to the attainment of a more child-friendly juvenile justice administration in Ghana. The workshop has been took place from the 31st October to the 1st of November 2008 at the Modern City Hotel, In Tamale. |
